20341 Concept 3000 / 4000 Versatile Relay Card
The versatile relay card has been designed to replace the current 8 relay expander board (20341) for the Concept 3000/4000 Control Modules, and the 8 relay expander board (20342) for the Concept Universal Expander & Mini Expanders.
- Versatile 8 Relay Expander provides low voltage, high current relay outputs, offering a general purpose interface in applications such as warning devices (strobes, sounders, etc.), process control, air-conditioning and access control including locks, lift floor-button security and lift call
- An external power supply option (via 2-way screw terminals and a "PWR Select" link) can be used whenever the Relay board power requirements exceed the current available from the host Module
- A 5-way DIPswitch is provided to configure the board for the type of host module that is connected
- When connected to a Universal Expander, DIPswitches are also used to:
- Define the group of Auxiliaries that will control the relays. (1-8, 9-16, etc.)
- Allow the legacy relay mapping scheme (the scrambled mapping for Relays 17 to 32) to be supported when the board is being used as a replacement
- A single 20-way box header is provided for connection to the host module. The 2nd header is no longer required as the connection variants are catered for by the DIPswitch settings
